Kitchens

“The evolution of the kitchen is linked to the invention of the cooking range or stove and the development of water infrastructure capable of supplying water to private homes. Until the 18th century, food was cooked over an open fire. Technical advances in heating food in the 18th and 19th centuries, changed the architecture of the kitchen. Before the advent of modern pipes, water was brought from an outdoor source such as wells, pumps or springs.” Wikipedia

Although Modern kitchen is a far cry of what were its early contraptions, its use and function remain the same – to make us all happy. We are happy to report that we’ve successfully re-modeled many kitchens in our 20+ year history, and that we stand behind our work, design and most of all – you the customer.

Showers

A shower (or shower-bath, walk-in shower, steam shower) is a place in which a person bathes under a spray of water, typically warm or hot water. The water is drained through a drain in the shower base. Modern showers come with configurable temperature and spray pressure settings, along with adjustable showerhead nozzle settings.

The simplest, least expensive showers have a swivelling nozzle aiming down on the user. More complex showers have a showerhead connected to a hose which has a mounting bracket. This allows the user to spray the water at different parts of their body. A shower can be installed in a small shower stall or in a bathtub. Wiki

Modern showers are one of the most desirable features in any home/apartment building. Showers must look beautiful and function as well as they look. It is absolutely necessary to have a place of relaxation and peace that we escape to every day, and this place is often a shower. This is why it is most requested renovation or a new build of all other jobs.

Basement

“A basement or cellar is one or more floors of a building that are either completely or partially below the ground floor. Basements are typically used as a utility space for a building where such items as the boiler, water heater, breaker panel or fuse box, car park, and air-conditioning system are located; so also are amenities such as the electrical distribution system, and cable television distribution point. However in cities with high property prices such as London, basements are often fitted out to a high standard and used as living space.” Wiki

There is not much to say about modern basements – they have become everything. From “Man Caves” to “Extended Living”, “Rental Properties”, “Craft Rooms”, “Bars” etc… possibilities are only limited by our imaginations. We’ve remodeled many basements into livable, usable extra living space, and we could do same for you.

Bathrooms

“The first records for the use of baths date back as far as 3000 B.C. At this time water had a strong religious value, being seen as a purifying element for both body and soul, and so it was not uncommon for people to be required to cleanse themselves before entering a sacred area. Baths are recorded as part of a village or town life throughout this period, with a split between steam baths in Europe and America and cold baths in Asia. Communal baths were erected in a distinctly separate area to the living quarters of the village, with a view to preventing evil spirits from entering the domestic quarters of a commune.” Wiki

Thank goodness we don’t have the communal baths any more, as our modern designs are far cry from the early inceptions. Our work has taken us through dozens and dozens of different bath/bathroom designs and we proudly stand by our work. Our customers tend to call us back in their future projects which speaks volumes to the quality of work.
